Similar to their working principle, when three-phase current is connected to a fixed motor stator winding, a rotating magnetic field is formed. This is because permanent magnets are installed in the rotor, so the permanent magnets are fixed under the action of magnetic poles. The rotating magnetic field generated in the rotor will drive the rotor to rotate.
